Bugs fixed in the version 8E patch

The following list describes most of the corrections that have been made in this patch. In addition to these items, we have also cleaned up a few other things such as handling some error conditions more gracefully, correcting minor problems with some reports, and fixing a few glitches in the play-by-play commentary.

- when we added the ability to sit back and passively watch the play-by-play in the version 8D patch, we introduced a bug in the display of the current batter's left/right splits in the upper right corner of the game window. If the next batter had no splits, the splits for the previous hitter would remain on the screen instead of being blanked out. This did not affect the performance of the new batter, and it has now been fixed.

- the game could crash if a pitching profile was in Skip mode and some of the rotation slots were left empty

- when you choose to Show all pitches or Show all plays and stop after the next half inning, the game no longer stops after every batter

- a caught stealing was not being charged when a pitcher picked a runner off first, the runner broke for second, and the runner would have been out at second had the first baseman not thrown the ball away for an error

- if you created players but failed to provide all of the basic ratings (bunt, run, jump, steal, and so on), the game could crash when those players were used; now the game handles these missing ratings without crashing

- with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth of a tie game, it was possible for the game to generate a walk plus wild pitch that would score two runs, when only one run is needed to win the game

- if, at the start of a game, you loaded a saved lineup other than the one the computer manager would normally select for that game, the game might still think you were using the depth chart for the computer manager's choice of lineup; if the depth chart for that lineup and the one you selected were very different, it could cause the computer manager to use players differently than you intended later in the game.
